December is the month when everyone gets together. The villa goes private for one group only: eight who sleep on site, up to fifty guests for the party, a covered carbet, a heated pool and a 200 m² deck for the table, the dance floor and the night of the 31st.

How the celebrations go at the villa

New Year's Eve at the villa fits in four steps. The menu, the music and the decor are built with you and our partners; the nights are booked together with the evening.

The dates, the number of guests, who sleeps on siteYou write to us; we reply with a quote and a running order. December goes fast: the earlier you give us the date, the more choice we have for you.
The days before: the villa is yoursThe family arrives, settles into the four bedrooms, enjoys the heated pool and the jacuzzi. The party decor goes up the day before or that morning.
The evening: the table under the carbet, the dance floor by the waterThe covered carbet hosts the meal and the dance floor, sheltered from a December shower; the ipe-wood deck circles the lit-up pool.
Midnight, and the next dayMusic stays at a reasonable volume, close family sleeps on site, nobody drives home. On 1 January, a brunch under the carbet, or a pool day with no schedule.

The rules, in four lines

A New Year's Eve party is prepared weeks ahead; better to know right away what we accept, and what we ask.

Up to 50 guestsThat is the size of the carbet and the deck. Beyond that, the place no longer suits and we would rather tell you.
Music, yes, until midnight and afterAt a reasonable volume: the villa stands alone at the end of its lane, in a quiet neighbourhood, and we care about our neighbours. The exact time is set in the quote.
The event is declared and accepted before bookingThe event package is priced separately, by date, number of guests and decor; it comes on top of the villa rental.
The nights are blocked at the same timeIf the family sleeps on site, we book the nights together with the evening: a 30% deposit confirms everything. December is in demand: the date gets blocked early.

The questions we get asked about the festive season

Can we rent the villa just for the evening of the 31st, without sleeping over?

Yes: private hire can be booked for a day or an evening as well as a stay. If some guests stay overnight, we also block the nights (4 bedrooms, 8 guests).

How many people for New Year's Eve?

50 people at most on the property, on top of the eight who sleep. That is the size of the carbet and the deck, and it is what keeps the evening pleasant.

Until what time can we party on 31 December?

Music is allowed at a reasonable volume, because we have neighbours and we care about them. The exact time is set with you in the quote, depending on the type of evening.

Can we set off fireworks or firecrackers?

No. No fireworks and no firecrackers on the property: the villa sits in a residential neighbourhood, surrounded by greenery, and we care about our neighbours. For light, our partners know how: lanterns, string lights, the giant moon by the pool.

Who cooks the Christmas or New Year's Eve meal?

You choose: the villa's equipped kitchen, your caterer, or Chef Uriel's table, a festive menu built with you and priced separately.

How much does New Year's Eve at the villa cost?

The event package is priced by date, number of guests and what you want to set up; it comes on top of the villa rental price (nights of the people sleeping on site). Give us the date: you receive a quote.
